Progressive rock arrangement inspired by 70s atmospheric groove. Mid-tempo hypnotic rhythm with tight dry snare and steady kick. Melodic walking bass moves between chord tones while a deep sustained bass pedal anchors the tonal center. Prominent vintage organ, warm and slightly overdriven. Abundant dominant analog synth pad chords — wide, layered, sustained and slowly evolving — continuously fill the harmonic space with dense cosmic depth.
Main melody carried by a trio of deeply weeping violins in rich harmony, very legato, strong vibrato, long emotional sustains and smooth connected phrasing. Between vocal lines they add fluid 64th-note legato embellishments that melt into transitions.
Clean electric guitar adds restrained rhythmic stabs. Spacious reverb throughout. During vocal peaks cymbals hiss in succession. Lead vocal raspy and intense. Toward the end male backing vocals and soft female layers join with “aa” and “oo” phrases. Analog warmth, no modern polish.•0
